A major fire broke out in the 32-storeyed building here on Monday evening, an official said.
The fire was confined to a duplex flat on the 17/18th floor of the residential Legend Building at Walkeshwar in south Mumbai, with thick clouds of smoke billowing out, but it was not clear if there were people inside.
The blaze erupted around 4 p.m. and a team of 16 fire-tenders has rushed to the sport for battling the blaze and rescue operations in the building off Banganga area of the posh Malabar Hill.
