Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Gautam Gambhir is set to join his team in Pune for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture against Kings XI Punjab on Saturday after being down with fever and a stomach bug for several days.
"Ah, recovering well. Thanks for ur wishes they mean a world to me. Will be off to Pune from Kolkata to join my mates @KKRiders God bless," Gambhir wrote on social networking site Twitter on Thursday.
A day earlier the KKR skipper had tweeted that he could not travel with the team as he had suddenly fallen ill and that he was living on a diet of curd-rice.
