At least five people including two policemen were killed and one was injured in two separate firing incidents in Pakistan Monday, Xinhua reported.
According to the Superintendent of police Aamir Farooqui, two unidntified gunmen riding on a motorcycle opened fire at three policemen at a check post in Sindh province's port city of Karachi, killing two and leaving another injured.
The incident occurred when the police stopped the motorcycle for checking in the city's Nazimabad area. The attackers fled the site after firing.
In another incident, at least three people were shot dead in Balochistan province's Turbat district.
Some unidentified gunmen dumped the bullet-ridden bodies of the deceased people in the district's Josak area.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
