Nelofar Currimbhoy's book "Flame...The Story of My Mother Shahnaz Hussain" might be adapted into a film with multi-faceted talent Piyush Mishra as the scriptwriter.
During the launch of her second book "Eyes of the Healer" on Wednesday, Nelofar, the daughter of entrepreneur Shahnaz Hussain, announced that Piyush is writing the script for her first book's adaptation into a film. However, Piyush says he is yet to accept the proposal.
Asked to respond to the announcement made by Nelofar, Piyush, who was among those attending the book launch, told IANS here: "Right now they have just offered it to me, it's not like I have accepted it.
"Tomorrow I will meet Shahnaz ji and after that meeting will I decide on it. The time frame is a little tied up so whether I am doing it or not will be decided after the meeting. I think this information should not have been revealed so soon."
The book launch was also attended by veteran actor Kabir Bedi, who read out a few lines from the book, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi and Salma Ansari, wife of Vice President Hamid Ansari.
"Eyes of the Healer", Nelofar's second book, is a saga in verse. It is based on Govinda, a young man who challenges the boundaries of the mind, to soar through the spiritual universe in search of divinity and his muse Maya, a devoted young woman who spins her universe around him and redefines the fruition of love.
