Formula One German Grand Prix has been crossed off from this year's list of races as there was no available venue for the July 19 race.

Formula One's governing body FIA has issued a revised calendar, featuring just 19 races instead of 20, reported Xinhua.

Hockenheim was expected to stage the race again in 2015 but the venue was not officially confirmed.

On Thursday, managing director of the Hockenheim track Georg Seiler said it was too late to organise it but they planned to host the German GP in 2016 and 2018.
