Four persons were killed when a speeding vehicle hit the road divider in Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning, police said.
The accident took place on the Ayodhya-Lucknow highway. One critically injured person has been admitted to the King Georges Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow.
Prima facie, an official told IANS, the accident appeared to have happened because the driver of the vehicle dozed off while driving.
