Four held for gang-rape of girl in MP

Four persons have been arrested for the gang-rape of a Class IX girl, police said on Thursday.

The girl was lured by the accused and sexually assaulted for several days by four accused, police said. The girl has since been rescued.

Two of the accused along with their woman accomplice Luxmi had lured the girl away from Gadhakota police station area to Makronia on November 12 and gang-raped her at a house where she was held captive.

Superintendent of Police Satyendra Shukla told the media that the woman and three youths were arrested while one culprit is absconding.
