A special investigation team (SIT) on Wednesday arrested four more persons -- all minors -- in Bihar's Jehanabad district in connection with the molestation of a minor girl, police said.
The four accused, aged between 13 and 17, were arrested from Bharthua village, taking the total arrests in the case to eight.
Four persons were arrested within 24 hours after a video clipping of the molestation that occurred in broad daylight on Saturday went viral on the social media.
Police have got the statement of the Dalit minor recorded in a court.
Police officer Shayam Sundar Singh said an FIR was lodged against seven persons under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act).
Patna Range Inspector General of Police N.H. Khan said all the accused will be tried in a special court.
