Four bikers were arrested, seven detained and 90 vehicles seized here Tuesday for creating chaos on roads by carrying out stunts and injuring two policemen who flagged them down, police said.
All those arrested and detained, all in their early 20s, were caught for creating chaos near the India Gate early Tuesday, police said.
Police said hundreds of bikers had appeared on roads in central Delhi late Monday night and seen performing dangerous stunts and driving rashly.
The bikers posed danger to those on the road and triggered chaos in the area till early morning, police said.
"The policemen deployed at India Gate stopped them. In the meantime, bikers attacked police and pelted stone on them. Two policemen were injured and admitted to hospital," a police official told IANS.
