A woman and her three children were run over by a train here Tuesday, police said.
According to police, the accident occurred in city's Harmara area in the evening.
"The driver of the Churu-Jaipur passenger train informed us that the train had run over a woman and three children. All of them died on the spot. The children were aged between 5 and 9 years. They are yet to be identified," said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Chomu) P.R. Meena.
The officer didn't rule out the possibility that the woman committed suicide after throwing the children in front of the train.
"Further investigation is on," he said.
