Gabriel Vats turns director with 'Love Area'

Actor Gabriel Vats, known for featuring in the 2015 movie "I Am Mr Mother", is set to turn director with the upcoming film "Love Area".

Gabriel told IANS: "One of my goals for the film is to set a new level of style in Hindi cinema. The plot combines two love triangles set years apart. The first half covers friends on a college campus. Basically, it is based on the Valentine's week."

He added: "'Love Area' is an Indian coming-of-age romantic, comedy, drama film. It is an initiative to bring happiness in the life of those people who have been affected by the recent demonetisation."

Made under the banner of Shri Raja Productions and Sniper Entertainment, "Love Area" is set to release next year.

He said: "We have plans to sign superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a guest appearance. It will be a tribute to him."

"Love Area" will be widely shot in India, Mauritius and London.

The cast includes Gabriel, Anurag Ranjan and Helen Fonseca.
