Gajendra Singh returns with 'Family Antakshari'

Television producer Gajendra Singh Friday launched "Family Antakshari #Baithe Baithe Kya Kare", a musical game show here.

Singh, the man behind "Antakshari", has given a twist to the new version - this time the families will be invited to play the musical game.

The one-hour show comprises of several interactive rounds like Gol Hue Bol, Har Dhun Kuch Kehti Hai and then Annu ji Ki Googly.

Mantra and Sugandha Mishra will host the new version, but Annu Kapoor, who had hosted "Antakshari" for over a decade, has also been roped in.

"'Antakshari' was something I created for the first time and it became immensely popular. I think Annuji gave it such a makeover that families used to sit together and watch the show," said Gajendra.

The weekend show will go on air Sep 27 on SAB TV.

An excited Mantra said: "When Gajendra first called me, I thought it was some kind of a prank. It took me a day to realise that it is true. I feel so lucky to be a part of a show, which created history."
