Kolkata Knight Rider's (KKR) captain Gautam Gambhir on Saturday sympathized with the victims of the flyover tragedy in the city, saying he would love to contribute in some way for them.
A portion of an under-construction flyover near Posta had collapsed on March 31, killing 26 people.
"This is very unfortunate, should not have happened. We would love to do something. But obviously you can't get the loss back. Whatever we can do in our capacity to help we would love to. In today's day and age a flyover collapsing is very unfortunate. Our moral responsibility is to help the victims," Gambhir told mediapersons on the eve of his team's opening match against Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens here.
