A gang of frauds who used to sell counterfeit marks-sheets, degrees and migration certificates was busted by police here on Tuesday, officials said.
Acting on a tip, officials of the Kavi Nagar police station nabbed the suspects from near the CBI Academy around noon.
During interrogation, the gang members -- identified as Salabh Sharma, Abid Khan, Deepak Tiwari and Shivam Dubey -- confessed to their crime.
Police were able to recover a stock of counterfeit marks-sheets, degrees and migration certificates from their possession.
Police also seized a car, three laptops, four printers, one coloured photostat machine, one scanner and 56 seals of different universities from their hideout in Shashtri Nagar, said Superintendent of Police (City) Ajay Pal.
