Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has dismissed rumours linking him to a move out of Real Madrid to Manchester City next football season, noting that his contract with the European champions is still valid for four years.
In response to a question regarding a potential transfer, Efe quoted Kroos as saying in a press conference on Thursday: "I am a Real Madrid player with four years left on my deal. That should be enough to silence those rumours."
The 26-year-old, who has been playing as a starter with world champions Germany under coach Joachim Loew, is preparing for the Euro 2016 quarter-final against Italy on Saturday.
