'Ghulaam' actor helps underprivileged in Mumbai rains (TV Snippets)

Actor Pradeep Duhan, known for TV shows like "Ghulaam" and "Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai", has come forward to help the underprivileged on Mumbai streets during heavy rainfall.

He helped them by providing food, clothes, umbrellas and raincoats.

"I feel happy and blessed to help them. I have used my hard earned money for a good cause and I feel that we all should do that," Pradeep said in a statement.

"I felt bad for a five-year-old child, who was down with severe cough and cold, and high fever. I took him to a doctor late night and I'm trying to shift him to a better place so that he can recover fast," he added.

The actor last appeared on the small screen in "Khichdi" (2018 series).

Yash Gera happy to join 'Zindagi Ki Mehek'

Actor Yash Gera, who last played actress Hina Khan's on-screen brother in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", is happy to join the cast of "Zindagi Ki Mehek".

"I'm happy to return to television after almost a year with 'Zindagi Ki Mehek'. I'm playing Arush, the love interest of Shaurya's (actor Karan Vohra) sister in the show," Yash said in a statement.

Yash has also appeared in shows like "Bairi Piya", "Kuch Toh Log Kahenge" and "Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani".

Sahel Phull's wish for cricket-based show

Actor Sahel Phull, known for shows like "Kundali Bhagya", "Piya Rangrezz" and "Uttaran", wants to work in a TV series based on cricket.

"I'm a sports person. I'm really crazy about playing cricket. I play cricket during most of my holidays or free time on the set. I really wish to work in a show based on cricket," Sahel said in a statement.

He added: "I'm sure people will love watching it. Most people have special love and place for the game in their life."
