The "Godzilla" sequel, to be directed by Gareth Edwards, will hit the US screens June 8, 2018.
Warner Bros. has confirmed the plans to make the movie's sequel with Edwards, who directed "Godzilla", reports contactmusic.com.
Edwards is currently busy developing one of the spin-off films for the "Star Wars" franchise. His "Godzilla" had received a mixed reception from critics, yet garnered a good response at box office, raking in around $500 million worldwide.
