Actress Meenakshi Sarkar, who is returning to Tamil films with Dhanush-starrer "Soodhadi", says it's a "great deal" to work with a talented artist like him.
Meenakshi was last seen in 2010 Tamil film "Agam Puram".
"I may not be playing Dhanush's pair in the film, but it still is a great deal to work in it. I'm sure I'll get to learn a lot from the experience," Meenakshi told IANS.
Meenakshi is paired with actor-filmmaker R. Parthepan, who will be essaying an important role.
"I have landed a bold role that has ample glamour quotient as well. I play Parthepan sir's pair and I'm really looking forward to start working with him," she said.
She had taken a break from acting to complete her MBA.
To be directed by Vetrimaaran, "Soodhadi" is expected to go on floors in October. Lakshmi Menon will play the film's lead actress.
