GSM users up by 4.97 million in April

The all-India GSM subscription increased by 4.97 million or 0.69 percent in April 2014 from the previous month, data released by Cellular Operators' Association of India said here Tuesday.

All India GSM cellular subscribers as of April 2014 stood at 726.90 million from 721.9 million in March 2014.

Bharti Airtel mopped up maximum subscribers with 206.58 million. Airtel was followed by Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.
