A video game series inspired by "Guardians of the Galaxy" is scheduled to release on April 18.
The new game series will have the movie version of the Guardians face-to-face with Thanos, who seems unusually intent on just outright killing the heroes himself, without the use of any minions or stand-in villains, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Vocal talent for the five-episode series includes Scott Porter, Emily O'Brien and Nolan North.
Titled "Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series", the game's first episode will be available for download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac platforms.
Meanwhile, the film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will release on May 5.
