Actor Gulshan Devaiah is set to play a struggling director who dreams of making a Bollywood film someday in the upcoming movie "Pichchar". He feels that to prepare for his role, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap would be a great reference point.
"There are certain aspects of my role for which I am using him as source material. As a mark of respect, I can't reveal what they are because some of the inspiration comes from a very personal space.
"I have a tremendous deal of respect and gratitude towards Anurag. He gave me my first break and I am living my dream because of that," Gulshan, who worked with Kashyap in "That Girl in Yellow Boots", said in statement.
While he is yet to shoot for "Pichchar", his next "Cabaret" with Richa Chadha, is expected to hit the screens soon.
