A government school teacher was thrashed by a group of people inside the school premises on Friday for molesting minor school girls, police said.
The teacher at the school near Wazirabad village here was beaten up by parents and other people for molesting a Class V girl student, said a police official.
The mother of the victim had earlier this week complained about the abuse in the school.
"The teacher was on leave since than and returned to school on Friday. The group of people created a ruckus inside the school premises and thrashed the accused," the official said.
They also had a heated argument with Sushant Lok police station in-charge, demanding strict action against the teacher.
The people alleged that the teacher had molested a number of students on several occasions.
"We are questioning the accused," the official said.
