Top doubles shuttler Jwala Gutta said she was happy at the Delhi High Court judgment Thursday which asked the Badminton Association of India (BAI) to allow her to take part in national and international tournaments.

Jwala moved the high court Wednesday challenging the life ban recommended on her by the BAI disciplinary committee last week. An independent panel was appointed Monday to look into the issue, barring her from playing in any tournament pending the panel's report.

"Yeyy happy....allowed to play tournaments...never thought i would have to ask court for permission to play but very happy with orders," tweeted Jwala Thursday.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medallist also thanked her Indian Badminton League (IBL) team Krrish Delhi Smashers and fans for their support.

"I think I'm so lucky to have support from my team owners...Patak sir and Amit katyal...I am proud to be a part of #KrrishDelhiSmashers. Thank u guys thank u so much....really humbled..the kind of support u showed...u guys give me strength..I am really grateful...thnk u. Thnk u thnk u...just thnk u is not enough guys...u guys really have kept me strong," added the 2011 World Championship women's doubles bronze medallist.

The BAI also withdrew Jwala's entry from the Denmark Open Super Series Premier (Oct 15-20) late Wednesday.

BAI's disciplinary committee recommended a life ban on Jwala for trying to stop her franchise, Krrish Delhi Smashers, from playing against the Banga Beats in an IBL fixture in Bangalore Aug 25.

Delhi had threatened to pull out of the match over the last minute replacement of injured singles player Hu Yun of Hong Kong with Denmark's Jan O Jorgensen, a higher ranked shuttler.
