Claiming that the visit of the 32-member delegation of officials and businessmen from Haryana, which he led, was a "highly successful" one, he said that the investment would include Rs.5,000 crore in the food processing industry.
He said that Haryana has signed MoUs with leading companies including Google, CISCO, United Technologies, Applied Materials as well as Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Khattar and his delegation visited New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Connecticut, San Francisco in the US and Vancouver and Toronto in Canada from August 16 to 25 and held business meetings with companies, institutions and business leaders over there.
The chief minister and his delegation promoted the recently launched new "Entrepreneur Promotion Policy, 2015". Haryana has sought investments in sectors like solar power, medi-care, services and others.
