Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday strengthened its leadership team by inducting Ashok Bhasin as the head of sales, marketing and customer care function for the India.
"Over the past few years, we have built a robust organization with the best of talent from around the world, which has enabled us to keep ahead of the curve in the highly competitive market," said Pawan Munjal, vice chairman, managing director and chief executive officer Hero MotoCorp.
"While we have built on our strong leadership at home, we have also rapidly expanded our global footprint across Asia, Africa, south and central America," Munjal added.
According to the company, Bhasin will directly report to Munjal and will be part of the leadership team, the apex decision making body at Hero MotoCorp.
Bhasin is replacing Anil Dua who was senior vice-president, sales and marketing. Dua left the company in June 2014.
