Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) personnel have seized 450 grams of heroin in West Bengal's Murshidabad district and arrested one person in this connection, officials said on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, NCB personnel intercepted Imdadul S.K. at Umarpur-Lalgola Link Road and seized the heroin from his possession while he was waiting to deliver the consignment to his associate on Tuesday.
The source of the drug was Lalgola of Murshidabad, and the destination was Kolkata, an NCB release said.
