Colombian striker Adrian Ramos will join Borussia Dortmund in the summer from Hertha Berlin to fill the void left by outgoing Robert Lewandowski, the German Bundesliga football club said Wednesday.
Dortmund said that Ramos, 28, has been offered a four-year contract. But financial details were not disclosed, reports Xinhua.
"Adrian Ramos is an excellent footballer and one of the best goal-scorers in Germany. His profile fits perfectly with that of Borussia Dortmund," Dortmund sport director Michael Zorc said.
Ramos has scored 32 goals and has 18 assists in 89 Bundesliga matches. He has 16 goals this season to rank third in the scorers' list.
Poland forward Lewandowski is set to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in summer.
Dortmund, who lost to Munich in the 2013 Champions League final, are currently second in the league.
