Hertha BSC and goalkeeper Thomas Kraft have agreed on contract extension until 2017, the Bundesliga side confirmed Monday.
Thomas Kraft penned a new contract, which ties him to the "Hauptstadtclub" until June, 2017. The former Bayern Munich goalkeeper who joined Berlin in July, 2011 has made 28 second division and 82 first division appearances since his arrival, reports Xinhua.
"Thomas is an absolute key player of our team. His goalkeeping skills as well as his character are very important for the team," team manager Michael Preetz said.
"I feel comfortable at Hertha Berlin. I am sure that we will undergo successful years," the 26-year-old goalkeeper said.
Hertha completed the first half of the campaign on the 13th place of the Bundesliga standings. They sit just one point above the relegation play-off spots.
