Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Tuesday directed security and intelligence agencies to be vigilant, especially in border areas, to tackle possibile terror attacks.
The chief minister held a high-level meeting here to discuss and review the security arrangements in view of the terror attack at Pathankot in Punjab, an official statement said.
He was informed that additional police forces had been deployed in the border areas. Commandos had also been deployed.
Police officers have been told to coordinate with security forces of neighbouring states.
