The Himachal Pradesh Police on Friday booked a personal security officer of state Industry Minister Mukesh Agnihotri for allegedly firing from his service revolver at a man in this capital town, police said.
An attempt to murder case has been registered against gunman Pankaj Sharma as he was charged with firing in the state-run Hotel Holiday Home on Thursday evening.
Complainant Kashish Khanna, a resident, who suffered bullet injuries on his foot, was hospitalised at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital.
The minister's driver Rakesh Kumar has also been booked.
Official sources said the dispute was over the parking of a vehicle. The minister was also present in the hotel when the firing took place.
