French President Francois Hollande Friday said he was considering a legal action against a weekly magazine Closer which published a report on his secret liaison with an actress, according to local media.
"Deeply complaining the breach of privacy," Hollande said he was "considering taking action including an appeal to court" after the French magazine reported he has a relationship with Julie Gayet, Xinhua reported.
In a seve-page photo spread titled "the President's secret love", Closer showed Hollande and Gayet arriving and leaving a same flat in Paris.
Hollande has four children with Segolene Royal, who failed to challenge Sarkozy in 2007 election. His life companion now is Valerie Trierweiler, 47, a French journalist.
