It was a sunny Friday morning here with the minimum temperature settling at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
"The sky will be partly cloudy today (Friday). The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius," a Met official said.
According to weather office, humidity at 8 a.m. was recorded at 49 percent.
