Hugh Jackman is a formidable talent: Stephen Merchant

Filmmaker Stephen Merchant has hailed actor Hugh Jackman's performance in "Logan" as formidable.

Merchant, who plays Caliban opposite Jackman (Wolverine) in the third installment of "Wolverine" movies, says that he was blown away with how much "fun" Jackman was to work with, reports bangshowbiz.com.

"Oh yeah, that was enormous fun, he's one of the nicest men you could work with, all the rumours you have heard about how lovely and accommodating and lovely he is, is all true, he's just formidable talent," Merchant said.

He kept tight-lipped when it came to talking about the injuries that took place on the set of the film.

"I'm not allowed to tell you anything about it unfortunately, I am sworn to secrecy, otherwise I think 21st Century Fox can hang, draw and quarter me if I said anything," Merchant said.
