Actress Kashmira Irani, who is making her comeback on television after seven years with "Manmarzian", says Hussain Kuwajerwala, her co-star in musical play "Zangoora", inspired her to get back to the idiot box.

"Hussain is the reason I decided to comeback on television with 'Manmarzian'," Kashmira, who was last seen in 2007 show "Amber Dhara", said in a statement.

"Ever since Hussain has become a friend, he has been a source of inspiration, as I have seen him work like a mad man even today. So many years of that kind of passion -- be it for acting, hosting or dancing -- just motivated me to get out there and do something," she added.

"Manmarzian", which will be aired on Star Plus from April 13, tells the story of Radhika (Monica Sehgal) and Samaira (Kashmira) and focusses on their friendship, motives, dreams, aspirations and evolving relationship.

When Pradeep Duhan lay on an ice brick

It seems actor Pradeep Duhan, who plays Manav Ojha in popular alien comedy series "Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai", is taking his acting job too seriously. To give a real essence to his character, Pradeep will be seen lying on an ice brick in the upcoming track of the show.

As Sunshine colony will host a perfect couple competition in which the colony members will participate to win the title, Manav will be seen lying down on a ice brick for a time frame of seven minutes in order to defeat Sharad Ghotala (Vinay Rohrra) in a task.

He decided to do it himself!

"Yes it is true that I chose to lie down on the brick of ice which was a part of the perfect couple competition and it was an amazing experience," Pradeep said in a statement.

"Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai" is aired on SAB TV.
