Shillong Lajong FC will look to build on their momentum when they take on a resurgent Chennai City FC in a tenth round I-League match here on Sunday.
Lajong have enjoyed a good run over the last one month. They won four back to back matches at home -- against Minerva Punjab, Mumbai FC, Chennai City and Churchill Brothers -- but succumbed to a 1-2 defeat to DSK Shivajians in their fifth home game before they departed for Siliguri to face East Bengal.
Lajong are on 13 points after nine matches and are at the fourth position.
"The weather and the ground is unknown to us and this will be a big test tomorrow," lajong coach Thangboi Singto said.
"Charles and Thank are the two foreigners who can create big problem for us. But we need to win this game and take home the three points."
On the other hand, I-League debutants Chennai City FC are heading into Sunday's clash after a 1-1 draw with Churchill Brothers at home on February 14.
The South Indian team have collected eight points from nine games and are at the seventh position in the I-League standings.
