Actress Ulka Gupta, known for her roles in mythological and historical shows like "Jhansi Ki Rani", "Veer Shivaji" and "Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev", says she likes accepting challenges.
"From Rani Laxmibai to Goddess Parvati, nothing came easy, the roles were equally challenging. But I like accepting challenges and giving my best shot in each performance," Ulka said in a statement.
Ulka, currently seen in "Shaktipeeth Ke Bhairav", added: "I am glad that the viewers have liked the shows that I have done by far and I am overwhelmed with the response that I am getting for 'Shaktipeeth Ke Bhairav'. The love that they are showering on me motivates to give my best and entertain them."

Rahul Sharma's 'eye-opening' experience
Actor Rahul Sharma, currently seen in TV show "Kaal Bhairav Rahasya", has shed weight for his role and says it was an eye-opening journey for him.
"The journey has been life-changing. We do not realise how much we ignore our body sometimes. But since I was determined to become fit, I paid close attention to everything -- from the food I eat, to the hours of sleep I get. I must say, it was an eye-opening journey," Rahul said in a statement.
"I'm more in touch with myself than ever -- emotionally, physically and spiritually. I feel I can finally join the wagon of people who worship and treat their bodies like temple," he added.
Rahul is seen alongside Chhavi Pandey and Sargun Kaur in the Star Bharat show.

Honeymoon comes later, work is worship: Gaurav Sharma
Actor Gaurav Sharma, who got married in Goa on October 30, says he is yet to go for a honeymoon as he started shooting for his show "Deewane Anjane" a few days after his marriage.
"There are people who plan holidays after getting married. But in my case, honeymoon comes later, work is worship," Gaurav said in a statement.
"I had already signed the show 'Deewane Anjane' before my wedding and I was pretty sure about the dates I had to start shooting, so it comes with no surprise, but (was) my own decision.
"In fact, I had a destination wedding in Goa. That doubled up the excitement level and it was a kind of a mini vacation. The role of Laxman is very exciting and I am happy to be a part of the series," he added.
"Deewane Anjane" is aired on BIG Magic.
