I'm a relaxed parent: Aamir (Movie Snippets)

Aamir Khan, who has lent his voice to the character of the dog Pluto Mehra in the family drama "Dil Dhadakne Do", on a dysfunctional family, says he believes in being a friend to his children.

Asked about the kind of parent he is, the father of three told IANS: "I am a very relaxed parent and believe in trusting my children and in teaching them what I know and what I have learnt in life. Then I trust them to take the right decisions in their life.

"I believe there should be a lot of trust and faith in the relationship of parents and children... a child must feel relaxed and be happy to share whatever they want to share -- their concerns, fears, dreams... they should be able to share it all with you."

Aamir is a doting father to sons Junaid and Azad Rao and daughter Ira.

Ali Fazal's first tattoo devoted to 'someone close'

Bollywood actor Ali Fazal is planning to get himself inked soon and says the tattoo is a "devotion to someone close" to him.

"Yes, I'm getting a tattoo. It's just something I designed. No symbol, no name... just a puzzle. It is my devotion to someone close to me?the other parts will be revealed in due time," Ali said in a statement.

According to a source, the concept of the tattoo is half and half.

Ali ventured into Bollywood in 2009 with the film "3 Idiots", directed by Rajkumar Hirani, but shot to fame with the 2013 film "Fukrey". The actor ventured into Hollywood with the seventh instalment of the "Fast And Furious" franchise.

Niche genre films are few down south: Rana Daggubati

Actor Rana Daggubati says the southern film industry is yet to experiment with movies of specific genres.

Sharing the difference between Hindi and southern films, Rana told IANS: "South Indian cinema is usually made to cater to a larger auditorium and specific genre films are fewer."

Among the Hindi movies, his "recent favourite" is Shoojit Sircar's "Piku", starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.

"I called Shoojit and Deepika after I saw the film and congratulated them for such a fine film. It was truly touching and Mr, Bachchan was at his best... outstanding in every way," he added.
