IBS Software wins global award

Technopark headquartered IBS Software Services has been awarded the prestigious "Information Technology for the Air Cargo Industry Award 2013", instituted by Britain-based Air Cargo Week.

IBS is a provider of new generation IT solutions to the travel, transportation and logistics industries world-wide.

The award was presented on Wednesday at the annual Air Cargo Week award ceremony held at Munich, Germany.

Air Cargo Week is one of the world's most widely read weekly magazine carrying news and features about international air freight for the global air cargo industry.

This is the third international award won by iCargo, IBS' new generation cargo management solution, in the last 12 months.

In a statement issued here Friday, IBS said the various stake holders in the global aviation industry vouched for their products as it understood the needs of the market, making IT easier for the airfreight community and for their product developments.

Over 20 global airlines have opted for iCargo to manage their mission critical cargo logistics including leaders like All Nippon Airways, British Airways, Qantas, South African Airways, Lufthansa Cargo and Nippon Cargo Airlines.
