IDBI Bank posts net loss Rs.3,664 crore

Government-owned IDBI Bank on Friday said it closed last fiscal with net loss of Rs.3,664.80 crore, as compared to net profit of Rs.873.39 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.

In a regulatory filing in BSE, IDBI Bank said its total income last fiscal was at Rs.31,453.46 crore, down from Rs.32,161.62 crore earned for the year ended March 31, 2015.

IDBI Bank's gross non-performing assets (NPA) as on March 31, 2016 stood at Rs.24,875 crore as compared to Rs.12,685 crore as at March 31, 2015.

The net NPA as on March 31, 2016 stood at Rs.14,643 crore of net advances as compared to Rs.5,993 crore as at March 31, 2015.
