Idea Cellular posted a consolidated net profit of Rs.764.21 crore for the October-December (third) quarter of 2015-16 compared with Rs.767.06 crore during the corresponding quarter of 2014-15, the company said on Thursday.
The net sales of the company went up by 12.37 percent to Rs.9,009.69 crore during the third quarter from Rs.8,017.47 crore during the corresponding period of 2014-15, a company statement said here.
"Consumer preference for brand Idea continues to rise as company added 29.7 million incremental subscribers (on VLR) in 2015, now serving 182 million quality customers, providing Idea a unique platform for future growth in mobile voice, wireless broadband, digital content and mobile banking services," the statement said.
