Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and former cricketer Imran Khan was seriously injured after falling off a "lifter" carrying him up the stage from where he was to address an election rally in Lahore, media reports said.
The Tehreek-e-Insaf chief along with a couple of others fell from a height of 14 to 20 ft after apparently seeming to lose his balance, reported Geo News.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the report said, adding he seemed to have sustained an injury on the back of his head.
TV footage also showed Imran Khan being carried by his associates in a semi-conscious state to a vehicle which then drove off to a hospital.
