Thirty-one inspired teachers selected from various central universities from across the country will stay at Rashtrpati Bhavan for an "In-Residence" programme from June 6 to 12, it was annpuned on Friday.
The teachers, during their stay at Rashtrapati Bhavan, will get an opportunity to interact with various union ministers and other prominent personalities from various walks of life, an official release said.
"The In-Residence programme for inspired teachers was announced by the President of India at the annual conference of vice chancellors of central universities on February 5, 2015. Similar programmes already exist for writers, artists, grassroot innovators and NIT students," the release said.
