India Monday assured Bangladesh it would bring a constitutional amendment bill related to the Land Boundary Agreement in the winter session of parliament in December.
According to official sources, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid gave this assurance to his Bangladeshi counterpart Dipu Moni on the sidelines of the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting of Foreign Ministers in Gurgaon, Haryana.
According to sources, the two leaders also discussed various other bilateral issues, specifically the implementation of the power-sharing agreement between the two neighbours.
The two ministers also discussed other regional matters and agreed to keep in touch during the Nov 15-17 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Sri Lanka.
