India-Australia ODI match washed out

The fifth One-Day International of the tri-series cricket tournament between hosts Australia and India, also featuring England, was washed out following heavy rains at Sydney cricket Ground here Monday.

India were sent in to bat by Australian captain George Bailey after he won the toss. India reached 69 for two after 16 overs when rain spoiled the proceedings.
