India's future linked with eastern India: Modi

India cannot develop till its eastern part develops, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday.
"We are focused on the development of northeastern states. This was ignored for many years," he said in his Independence Day speech from the Red Fort here.
He also added that his government was committed to provide electricity to all those villages that do not have power.
