A 60-year-old Indian man allegedly committed suicide here by hanging himself at his home, a media report said.
The man identified as J.F.R. was found hanging from the ceiling at his home in Al Naba'a area on Wednesday, a police official told Gulf News on Thursday.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and forensic officials examined the scene of the apparent suicide after police reported the incident to them, the report said.
The body was transferred to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy and the police were investigating the case.
