Budget passenger carrier IndiGo on Friday said it will commence flight operations to Amritsar from March 16.
"Effective March 16, IndiGo will operate a daily non-stop flight between Amritsar and Delhi and Amritsar and Mumbai," the airline said in a statement.
"In line with the company's growth strategy, the airline has also inducted two brand new Airbus A320 NEO aircraft into its existing fleet this month."
The statement said the airline recently added 20 flights in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bagdogra, Chandigarh and Singapore sectors.
Currently, the airline operates 883 daily flights connecting 43 destinations.
