Software major Infosys on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 4,110 crore, a 10.3 per cent on-year rise for the quarter ended September 30.
The profit-after-tax for the second quarter of this fiscal year ending March 31 was 13.8 per cent higher sequentially.
In an exchange filing, the city-based software exporter said its consolidated revenue for the quarter grew 17.3 per cent on year to Rs 20,609 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the increase in revenue was 7.3 per cent.
In dollar terms, net profit grew a meagre 0.5 per cent on year to $581 million in the three months through September. Sequentially, it grew 8.8 per cent.
Revenue in dollar terms during the quarter rose 7.7 per cent on year to $2,921 million.
