Intel's Debjani Ghosh is new MAIT president

Debjani Ghosh of Intel will be the new president of Manufacturers' Association for Information Technology (MAIT), it was announced on Tuesday, She will be the first woman to hold the post.

The 32-year-old MAIT is the apex body of India's IT hardware, training and research and development service sectors.

Currently vice president sales and marketing group and managing director, South Asia, Ghosh has been with Intel for over 19 years. In 2013, she was ranked amongst the 25 Most Powerful Women in Fortune India.
