Iranian volleyball team overpowered nine-time winners Brazil 3-1 in the Italian city of Florence to advance to the 2014 FIVB semi-finals, Mehr news agency has reported.
In Saturday's match, Iran won the first two sets 25-21, 25-19, but the Brazilians took the hard-fought third 25-23, reported Xinhua.
The Iranian players once again showed their superiority and won the fourth set 28-26 to beat Brazil third time in 2014.
Iran's Amir Ghafour was the best scorer of the game.
